A tech creator has tested whether OpenAI’s “GPT-6 Astra" could handle an accommodation booking on the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) website. He claimed the AI managed most of the process with very little human help.

Instagram user tech by pavan shared the test after asking the AI to book accommodation for a planned visit to Tirupati on December 21. According to him, the model was able to access the website, use his credentials and move through the booking process before stopping at the payment stage.

He Asked The AI To Book His Tirupati Stay

The creator said he wanted to see whether the AI could handle the TTD booking process, which can be difficult because of high demand when slots are released. “You can see the timer has been going. Let me check it out if GPT-6 Astra can book a ticket for me in TTD for my accommodation," Pavan said in the video.

He explained that he gave the model a basic instruction to arrange accommodation for December 21. He then watched as the AI worked through the website and moved ahead with the booking.

I have just given a prompt for this to book a ticket on 21st of my December, and I just given a simple prompt over here. It will be accessing my credentials, and it will be stopping at my final payment page. I didn’t give my any kind of financial type of details to this. Let us check what will be going to happen," he said.

A screenshot shown in the clip appears to display a chatbot interface labelled “GPT-6 Astra". The instructions shown on the screen asked the AI to log into the TTD website, select accommodation and stop before making the payment.

He did not allow the transaction to go through. The test has also raised questions about giving AI systems access to personal accounts. While the creator said he allowed the model to use his credentials, he stopped the process before payment.

Some users were impressed by the idea of an AI handling a booking from start to finish, while others raised concerns about privacy, account security and how much control should be given to such systems.

The video has therefore turned a simple Tirupati accommodation booking into a discussion about how far AI assistants can go when they are allowed to interact with websites and user accounts.
